The Live Art Almanac: a publication of writing on and around Live Art.
No more submissions please.
The Live Art Almanac is a forthcoming not-for-profit publication produced by Live Art UK. It will be distributed through Live Art UK and other outlets in 2008 for a readership of artists, writers, students and others interested in Live Art.
In 2006, Live Art UK issued a call for recommendations of writing on and around Live Art.
Live Art UK has received over a hundred recommendations of interviews, reviews and articles for inclusion over the last eighteen months and from these the final selection for the Live Art Almanac will be made. Live Art UK thanks everyone that has submitted their writing and the writing of others as a contribution to the Live Art Almanac. We greatly value all the suggestions and recommendations which we have received which are rich and varied.
The content of the Live Art Almanac will be chosen for both the quality of the writing and ways in which the combination of texts work together. We aim to work towards a selection which provides an overview of the Live Art sector and the contemporary cultural landscape in which it sits. Permission will be sought for all material before publication.
An archive of the details of the call for submissions is availble on this site.
