All These Things

The Leeds based artist-led Live Art Bistro (LAB) have been given the keys to ZOO Venues at the Edinburgh Fringe for one night to present a mini festival of experimental and transgressive performance with over 20 artists from across the UK and Europe.

All These Things is the inaugural outing for LAB at the Fringe and takes the reins of the likes of Forest Fringe, to deliver a programme of work that might struggle to be seen or even find a venue at the Fringe. Lasting for 12 hours (under one single ticket) this model encourages audiences to choose their own adventure across the two venues and encounter performance works they may not have given a shot on before.

The event takes place at ZOO Venues on 15 August 5pm to 5am beginning at ZOO Southside and moving to ZOO Charteris at 1am.

Artists include:

Shit Theatre: Fringe darlings will be creating an adult baby creche for people who want to regress away from all the world’s chaos and turmoil, and be looked after hand and foot.

Sara Zaltash: A performance questioning Islam’s place in Live Art and contemporary performance, whilst acknowledging its absence. The artist invites people to join in and observe rituals filled with song and joy.

Anna Berndtson: Swedish born, Berlin based artist and Marina Abramovic collaborator is inviting other artists to submit their own works for her to reperform. Anna will be re-performing these works, one per hour for the duration of the event.

Ben Mills: Leeds based artisan baker and artist will lay naked in a 50kg mound of dough and let it rise over him as it proofs.

Naked Balloon Party: Two of the nation’s favorite queer dance parties unite under the banner of Live Art Bistro's Naked Balloon Party; a hedonistic haze of good music, performance happenings  and party games.
